An attractive new introduction of flowering cherry propagated onto a ‘standard’. Forms a dense, globe-shaped crown that creates an eye-catching display, accentuated by the fine foliage. This cultivar is excellent as a feature in a wide range of areas from small parks and private gardens to public carparks and malls.

Round-headed. Requires little to no pruning to maintain shape. Propagated onto a ‘tall’ standard at approximately 1.8 metres, available in 40cm pot size as a ready to install tree. 

Small, glossy dark green leaves. Autumn colour can be stunning, with vibrant orange-reds and golden yellow.

White flowers are borne in umbels of two to four flowers in mid-spring.

Dark red, inedible fruits may be formed under favourable conditions.

Hardy and adaptable to a variety of site conditions.

Suitable for planting in narrow streets, malls, median strips and similar situations. Prefers moist, well drained fertile soils and full sun to part-shade. Flowers best in full sun.
