Japanese Laurel (Aucuba Japonica) , also know as Gold Dust plant, is a slow-growing shrub with yellow speckled foliage.
Japanese Laurel adds a burst of color to deep shade. It is an evergreen shrub, can be grown both indoors and outdoors and provides color and texture when other plants go dormant for winter.
Add gold-dust plant to shaded patio gardens, north- and east-facing foundation borders, and any shade spot that needs a spark of easy-care interest. Frost Hardy and drought tolerant. Prefers well drained but moist soil. Apply slow release fertiliser every 5-6 months.
