The beefsteak tomato is known for very large, ribbed, slightly flat, red fruits growing up to 500g. Delicious pink/red meaty flesh that is ideal for slicing. Growing beefsteak tomatoes requires a heavy cage or stakes to support the often heavy harvest.
Tomatoes are an excellent source of vitamin c and antioxidants; you can enjoy tomatoes with your garden salads and favourite recipes. Plant 75cm apart.
Prefers full sun position in a well drained soil.
