Prunus 'Pink Snow Showers' makes a truly wonderful specimen tree for any garden. Valued for its mass of pale pink blooms during spring and the superb weeping form. This is a tree that is very showy during the springs months when it flowers.
Maintains an elegant, strongly weeping habit, with many long trailing branches without the need for annual pruning, however it will respond well to annual pruning (after flowering) if desired. Propagated onto a standard at approximately 1.8 metre.
Lanceolate green leaves, that can change to orange-gold colour during autumn depending on climatic conditions of the region planted.
Produces masses of pale pink single blooms during spring. Greyish-brown bark with numerous lenticels.
Adaptable to a variety of site conditions, but prefers moist, well drained fertile soils and a position receiving full sun to part-shade. Flowers best in full sun. Requires a deep soaking when dry. Mulch is beneficial.
